About Us

Summit Park Bible Church is an independent, non-denominational Bible church made up of individuals who have received by faith the atoning work of Jesus Christ who, as God in the flesh, forgives sins based only on the merit of His own work on the cross. We hold to the teachings of the 66 Old and New Testament books of the Bible and accept them as God’s inspired word to all believers in Jesus Christ. This Scripture is the sole authority of the Church in all matters of life and godliness. (II Peter 1:3, 20-21)

It is our purpose, in regular assembly, to live by and teach God’s Word to all believers that come for corporate worship. (John 14:23-24) As saints of God, we are called to be faithful in gathering so that we may stir one another to love and good works, encouraging and equipping each other to spiritual maturity. (Heb. 10:22-23; Eph. 4:11-13)

With this calling in mind, we commit ourselves to the proclamation of God’s Word. We offer a Sunday school program for all ages every Sunday morning where selected church members will teach the Word at age appropriate levels. Our Sunday morning service is a time of worship and praise to God in song, in Scripture reading, and in the expositional preaching of the Word. Our worship also includes a free-will offering taken during the service each week. On the first Sunday of each month we encourage all believers to join in our communion worship as a memorial to the sacrificial atonement of Jesus Christ.
